The holiday season is made for gathering with the people you love – sharing stories, celebrating, and enjoying great food and drinks. A crowd-friendly batch cocktail keeps hosting effortless, so here’s a roundup of my best holiday party cocktails. Cheers!
Holiday Gatherings
Over the years I’ve hosted every kind of holiday party, from big, bustling gatherings to the small, cozy ones we do now with our closest people. No matter the size, these cocktails fit right in.
Our Frozen vodka slushes will always have a special place in my heart. My mom made them for nearly every family get‑together, and they became one of those traditions everyone looked forward to. I may have had a few as a teenager (quietly, of course), and while I don’t suggest that, I do remember getting a tiny “slushie” now and then as a kid.
We also grew up with a cranberry vodka slush and our beloved frozen grasshoppers – both staples at family gatherings. The best part is they store beautifully in the freezer until you’re ready to serve.
So if we’re doing the math here, three of these cocktails are long‑standing family traditions, and the other seven are my own creations. It’s a fun mix of nostalgia and new ideas, all stirred together.
If you’re making drinks for a large group, no stress – you can scale everything right in the recipe card. Change the serving size and the ingredients adjust themselves.
