Dill Pickle Pickle Roll-ups

Have you ever enjoyed pickle rollups? The one where you add cream cheese to ham, add a pickle and roll it up. Remember those dill pickle wraps?

This version is VERY similar to that. But we’re adding tortillas and a little bit of seasoning too. We inhaled these when we gathered with family at our annual lake vacations. So delicious and great memories!

Why We Love This Recipe:

  • SIMPLE – These ham pickle roll ups are the perfect party appetizers. Just a handful of ingredients are required plus a quick and simple process. Easy cleanup too!
  • NOSTALGIC – These tasty little bites are possibly a Midwest thing. We lived in Iowa and loved eating pickle appetizers.
  • DELISH – Pickle lovers will love this delicious appetizer for sure. Plus the ham slices add a ton of flavor too.
  • GREAT FOR GAME DAY – Make these pinwheels for your next party or game day gathering. BTW, they make great after school snacks as well.

Ingredients Used:

  • Large Flour Tortillas – We use burrito-sized flour tortillas. I don’t recommend anything smaller because they won’t hold as much filling.
  • Cream Cheese – Use cream cheese light or full-fat cream cheese. You could also try a flavored cream cheese like veggie or herb flavored.
  • Ham – I prefer Boar’s Head Tavern Ham but your favorite deli ham works fine too.
  • Dill Pickles – I used small whole dill pickles and diced them up. You could use pickle spears or baby dills instead.
  • Seasonings – A combo of onion powder, dill weed, and black pepper.

Step 4
Roll up the pinwheels. Then roll up the tortillas, keeping them tight as you roll them up.
