Are y’all ready for summertime gatherings? If so, then THIS sangria recipe is for you. In fact, you’ll want to make more than one batch, depending on the size of your group. Just keep a couple of pitchers chilling in the refrigerator and add frozen fruit (and ice) as you serve it.

Let’s enjoy summer, even if it involves a little bit of sweating! 😀

Ingredients Used:

This is a super simple cocktail and easy to make in large batches too!

  • Rose Wine – The key ingredient for these sangrias. Use your favorite version.
  • Vodka – You’ll need one cup of vodka. We prefer Ketel One but anything you drink works too.
  • Fruit Juice – I recommend using either a strawberry or peach fruit juice.
  • Frozen Fruit – I used frozen strawberries and peaches for this sangria recipe. They serve as ice cubes if you add them when serving.
  • Lemons and Limes – Some citrus is always a great idea for sangrias and other batch cocktails.
  • Simple Syrup (optional) – I recommend adding some simple syrup if you like a sweeter drink.
  • Garnish – You can garnish these drinks with fresh mint or other fruit of your choice.

How to make Rose Sangria with Vodka:

Step 1
Combine liquids. In a large pitcher, combine the Rose wine, a cup of vodka, and two cups of fruit juice.

If you prefer a sweeter drink, add some simple syrup too. Start with about 1/4 cup and add more as needed. See instructions for making simple syrup below.

Step 2
Add fruit. Then add freshly sliced lemon and lime, and frozen strawberries and peach slices.

You can go wild here with the fruit. Choose whatever you like – frozen blueberries, blackberries, pineapple, cherries, raspberries, and so on. The fruit can be consumed after the drinks are gone, but beware because they pack a punch (soaked in alcohol)!

Two bowls of 1) frozen peaches and strawberries and 2) fresh lemon and lime slices.

Step 3
Serve. Serve the sangria in your favorite glasses, along with some fruit. Add ice cubes as needed to chill.

How to make Simple Syrup:

  1. Combine equal parts water and sugar in a small pan.
  2. Heat over medium heat until the sugar completely dissolves.
  3. Pour in a mason jar and refrigerate until ready to use for cocktails.
