Espresso Martinis

If I’m honest, we’re pretty particular about our coffee. Whenever we travel, we’re always hunting down a great spot for our morning cup and a fun place for evening cocktails. So of course I had to share these frozen espresso martinis – they bring together two of our favorite things: strong coffee and a good coffee‑forward liqueur.

Why we love these martinis:

  • We love that boozy, grown‑up coffee milkshake vibe – frozen espresso martinis nail it.
  • They’re cold, creamy, and perfect for warm nights or easy entertaining.
  • And the best part: you get a fun, fancy‑feeling cocktail that blends up in minutes.

Recipe FAQs:

Can I use Baileys or Kahlüa?

Yes. Baileys makes the drink creamier and more dessert‑like, while Kahlúa keeps it more coffee‑forward. Both blend beautifully.

Why isn’t my drink getting slushy?

It usually means the liquid wasn’t cold enough or there wasn’t enough ice. Chill everything first and add a little more ice until it hits that perfect frozen texture.

How strong is a frozen espresso martini?

It’s about the same strength as a regular espresso martini, just blended. You can make it lighter by reducing the vodka or stronger by adding a splash more.

Can I make these ahead of time?

You can brew the espresso and measure out the ingredients ahead, but blend right before serving so the texture stays smooth and icy.
