Instructions
Make espresso. Make espresso if you have access to an espresso maker. Otherwise, you can use strong cold brew (and even buy pre-made). Let cool.4 oz. espresso
Freeze espresso or cold brew. If you have time to prep ahead, pour the espresso into an ice cube tray and freeze solid.
Combine ingredients. In a large blender, combine the frozen espresso ice cubes, Kahlua liqueur, vodka, and simple syrup. Blend well.4 oz. Kahlua, 4 oz. vodka, 1-2 oz. simple syrup
Add ice. Then add ice cubes to the blender to get the martinis to your desired consistency.3 cups ice cubes
Pour into glasses. Pour the frozen martinis into martini glasses (or other). Top with 2-3 coffee beans, if desired.
Notes
You can buy simple syrup or make your own. Simply combine equal parts water and granulated sugar in a pan and simmer until sugar dissolves.
To make these in advance, you can brew the espresso and measure out the ingredients ahead, but blend right before serving so the texture stays smooth and icy.
