Pink Lemonade Vodka Slush is the perfect large-batch summer cocktail. Combining frozen concentrate with fresh lemon juice, soda, and vodka makes this one a big-time repeat!
When I’m not mixing up a large batch of slush, I love making other frozen cocktails. Try my layered Blackberry Peach Frozen Margaritas, some Strawberry Lemonade Frozen Margaritas, and the best Frozen Pina Coladas!
Pink Vodka Slush
My slush obsession began as a teenager when my mom made “buckets” of slush for our great big family. We grew up being allowed a small slush as kids, as long as we were home and safe under our parent’s roof. In fact, my first slush is the Frozen Vodka Slush Recipe (documented on my site). We drank them in the winter months, which is kinda strange, but they were big for Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
Since then, I’ve experimented with other flavors and thought it was time for something especially summery. Because pink lemonade spells summer, in my mind. And here in Texas, we have A LOT of warm months. We are usually carefree in shorts in April and then squeeze into our jeans in about November. So yes, lots of summertime weather which means lots of cool, refreshing smoothies and cocktails.
Ingredients needed for Pink Lemonade Vodka Slush:
This is a super short ingredient list, just like we want for summer cocktails!
- Lemonade – You’ll need two cans of pink lemonade concentrate for this slush.
- Lemons – Squeeze approximately three large lemons. You should get about 2/3 cup.
- Water – 4 cups of water are needed.
- Sprite – You’ll need some for the slush, and some more to serve.
- Vodka – Use good quality vodka.
How to make Pink Lemonade Vodka Slush:
- Thaw lemonade. Remove pink lemonade from cans into a large mixing bowl or storage container. Let thaw completely.
- Add remaining ingredients. Add all remaining ingredients to the container and mix well.
- Freeze. Place the slush into the freezer for at least 12 hours to completely freeze.
- Serve. Serve slush in pretty glasses with a lemon slice and a bit more Sprite (if desired).
Other Vodka Slush Recipes:
- Strawberry Lemonade Vodka Slushies – The most popular slush recipe on the blog!
- Frozen Vodka Slush Recipe – THE one from my childhood.
- Cranberry Vodka Slush – A really nice one for the holidays, but good any time of year.
Party Snacks to pair with these cocktails:
I always recommend having plenty of snacks while sipping on cocktails. Let’s get happy but not crazy!
- Homemade Pretzel Bites – I recommend making a double batch of these to freeze some for later. 😀
- Honey Roasted Nuts – You can’t go wrong with some sweet and spicy nuts.
- Roasted Tomato Bruschetta with Ricotta – This one is great served at room temperature.

I had a recipe at one time for a cherry koolaid vodka slush but lost it . Do you have any recipes like that.
Hi! Do you think this would work as well with tequila as it does with vodka?
It would work fine. I prefer a more neutral liquor (vodka) with these, however. I have lots of margarita recipes that you could make as well!
I have been tasked with making pink lemonade for a 5yo birthday party. While I can not add vodka…this time, have you had anyone make this in the mocktail form? And if so, any reviews? It sounds like this would still be good for the kiddos. Your thoughts?
Hi Jamila. I have not made this in mocktail form, but I think you could do it. It will get VERY hard (adding vodka keeps it softer) in the freezer, so you’ll need extra time to get it softened enough to serve. Good luck!
Perfect for those hot summer days!
I agree 100%!
This is a refreshing drink. I am a lightweight and I really enjoy this slush. Just the right amount of ingredients for a warm day or night in Texas. So easy to make and it makes enough to have on hand whenever needed. It is easy to grab a cup at anything. This slush is my new favorite!! YUM!! Oh, by the way, the color of it makes me happy!
I love the color too. AND the taste! Thanks for your feedback, Michelle!
