These Strawberry Lemonade Frozen Margaritas are bright, slushy, and perfectly balanced with frozen strawberries, lemonade concentrate, tequila, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, and lots of ice. Serve these margs with some chips and guacamole, and let’s get this party started!

Frozen Margaritas
It’s time to dust off the margarita glasses, friends, and make something pretty and delicious. Around here the warm weather sticks around for months, so pool time, a couple of margaritas, and a few friends gathered for happy hour feels like pure perfection.
Do you know what’s really awesome about these frozen margaritas? You can make them ahead of time, pour them into a big container, and freeze for later – perfect for when you’re craving a quick, icy cocktail. I usually grab a large bag of frozen strawberries and whip up as many batches as I can; it’s a total win every time
Why We Love These:
- Frozen strawberries add natural sweetness and thickness – they give the drink a bright, fruity flavor and that perfect slushy texture.
- Lemonade concentrate balances the sweetness – adding tartness that keeps the margarita refreshing and not too sugary.
- Cointreau and tequila bring depth and warmth – giving the cocktail a classic, boozy kick that pairs perfectly with the fruit.
- Make-ahead friendly – blend in advance, freeze, and serve later, making it easy to entertain without stress.

Ingredients Used:
You can make these margs pretty quickly. Like 10 minutes!
- Frozen Strawberries – Buy frozen strawberries with no sugar added.
- Frozen Lemonade – You’ll need one 12 oz. can of frozen lemonade.
- Lime Juice – Freshly squeezed lime juice.
- Tequila – Use good quality tequila for best results.
- Triple Sec – I like to use Cointreau for all my margs.
- Ice Cubes – To thicken the drinks.
- To serve – Use a salt rim, lime wedges, and fresh strawberries to make these pretty!

Recipe FAQs:
Blend everything together and add the ice last and as needed. You can always adjust to add more liquid to thin (lemonade or a splash of tequila) or more ice to thicken.
Definitely. Add more lemonade concentrate for sweetness or extra lime juice for a tangier kick.
Absolutely! Blend them, pour into a large container, and freeze. Just let them sit a few minutes to soften slightly before serving.
Snacks to go with Margaritas:
- The BEST Chunky Guacamole! – I’ll never say no to guacamole.
- Hot Jalapeño Corn Dip – A dip from my childhood and still so good.
- Pepper Jack Queso – All the spiciness in this one. Perfection!
- Bacon Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers – Another oldie.

Notes
- We like to make a large batch of these and store in the freezer. But you can serve them immediately as well.
- Feel free to adjust the sweetness or tartness. Add more lemonade concentrate for a sweeter drink or more lime juice for more tartness.
- Pair these frozen margaritas with your favorite snacks – chunky guacamole, bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers, or soft pretzel bites with cheese sauce.

Great recipe! Had them on the river this weekend and it was good! For a smoother drink, strain the strawberry seeds either blend first or the entire marg.
Great idea! Glad you enjoyed these, Fraser!
My hubby made these for Memorial Day family gathering and oh they were a big hit!!! Absolutely delicious and refreshing! They will definitely be on our drink menu this summer💕
Thanks Cheryl! So glad you enjoyed them. 😀
Made these for Cinco de Mayo and love them!! I’m usually a rocks girl but these won me over. I made extra for the freezer so I can scoop them out when “needed” even though they are very easy to make!!
We had these tonight for Cinco de Mayo, and they were so good and really easy to make. They’ve just been added to our regular drink list!
