Cheeseburger Bowls
Burgers are one of our favorite summertime foods to grill, and we can’t get enough giant Goat Cheese Burgers or these tasty Pimento Cheese Burgers. When we focus on lean eating, we usually go for some Green Chile Turkey Burgers or these deconstructed burgers.
Why This Recipe Works:
- SIMPLE – These deconstructed burger bowls combine simple ingredients that include all the flavors of a burger.
- LOW-CARB – This low-carb meal focuses on individual flavors and textures and excludes the typical burger bun. This easy dinner is really delicious too and will soon become a new favorite for y’all!
- CUSTOMIZABLE – Feel free to change up the ingredients as you wish to please the whole family. The sky is the limit when it comes to satisfying your burger craving!
What you’ll need to make Deconstructed Burgers:
The following ingredients are everything you need to make a deconstructed burger with classic burger toppings.
- The Beef Mixture – A quick combo of lean ground beef, onions, Worcestershire Sauce, and seasonings. This is a super flavorful ground beef mixture.
- Dill Pickle Ranch Dressing – This dressing combines mayo, sour cream, plain Greek yogurt, fresh dill, dill pickle juice, and seasonings.
- Veggies – Fresh iceberg lettuce and cherry tomatoes complete this burger salad.
- Pickled Red Onions – Keep a jar of pickled onions on hand in your refrigerator or use regular red onion.
- Cheese – I used a combo of cheddar cheese and Monterey jack cheese but any combo works.
- Dill Pickles – I like to add dill pickle chips to the bowls.
- Dill Pickle Potato Chips
How to make Cheeseburger Bowls:
Step 1
Make dill pickle ranch dressing. In a mixing bowl, combine the ingredients – mayonnaise, sour cream, plain Greek yogurt, fresh dill, dill pickle juice, and seasonings. Use a whisk to combine well. Store dressing in a bowl or a mason jar and chill until serving.
Step 2
Make the beef mixture. Heat up a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, diced onions, Worcestershire Sauce, and seasonings (garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, and freshly ground black pepper).
Stir the beef frequently until cooked completely through.
Step 3
Prepare the remaining ingredients. Add the other burger bowl ingredients to individual bowls – the tomatoes, cheese, dill pickle slices, and dill pickle potato chips.
Step 4
Serve. Add the burger ingredients to individual serving bowls. Top with the creamy dill pickle ranch to serve.
