Classic Moscow Mules
Classic Moscow Mules are a simple combination of vodka, ginger beer, and fresh lime juice. These 3-ingredient cocktails are refreshing for warm summer evenings!

Summer Moscow Mules
Don’t you love a good classic drink? Mike and I got hooked on these years ago after having the bests Moscow mule during an anniversary dinner. It was perfectly iced, which is REALLY important to me in the summer, (because you know, Texas summer = HOT) and the flavor was perfecto.
Ingredients Used:
- Vodka. Use a good quality vodka. We like Kettle One and Absolute. If you use a cheap version, the taste will suffer.
- Ginger Beer. Again, use a good quality. We always get Fever Tree, and there IS a light version as well.
- Fresh Lime Juice. Fresh limes are super important in these cocktails.
- Fresh lime wedges. Gotta make it pretty.
- Ice. As soon as you add ice to the copper mugs, they get super cold.
How to make Classic Moscow Mules:
Step 1
Chill ingredients. For best results, make sure all ingredients are cold before making these cocktails. Chill copper mugs.
Step 2
Prep glasses. Add lots of ice cubes to two copper mugs (or other cocktail glasses). Add lime slices to rims of mugs.
Step 3
Make drinks. To each mug, pour 2 oz. of vodka, 4 oz. of ginger beer, and 1.5 oz. lime juice. Stir well.
Enjoy!
