What You’ll Need:

These require just a few simple ingredients.

  • Limes – We need fresh lime juice in these delicious mocktails.
  • Blueberry Lemonade – You can also use blueberry juice.
  • Fresh or Frozen Blueberries – Either work.
  • Fresh Mint – We have a “growing” mint plant in our yard and it just keeps getting bigger!
  • Simple Syrup (optional)
The labeled ingredients for blueberry mocktails.

Make the simple syrup (ahead of time). Combine equal parts water and sugar in a small pan (along with a few fresh mint leaves if desired). Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Remove mint, place in a mason jar, and refrigerate until ready to use for mojitos.

How to make Blueberry Mocktails:

Muddle mint. Add a couple of tablespoons of blueberries and mint leaves to a glass pitcher and muddle for about 20 seconds or until the mint becomes fragrant.

Recipe FAQs:

How do you make this mocktail into a cocktail?

If you want to turn this delicious drink into a cocktail, add some white rum or your favorite vodka.

Can I substitute other juice or lemonade?

Yes, instead of blueberry juice or lemonade, you can use another flavor. Whatever you prefer!

Does this virgin drink need simple syrup too?

I prefer my drinks less sweet but if you like yours sweeter, add some simple syrup. I always keep a jar handy in the fridge.
