Ingredients
2cupsfrozen pineapple
4oz.silver tequila
2oz.cointreau- or triple sec
3oz.freshly squeezed lime juice
1cupice cubes- or enough to thicken
kosher salt- to rim glasses
lime slices - to serve
simple syrup- add if you like a sweeter margarita!
Instructions
Combine ingredients. Add all ingredients to a blender – the tequila, Cointreau, freshly squeezed lime juice, and frozen fruit.4 oz. silver tequila, 2 oz. cointreau, 3 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice, 2 cups frozen pineapple
Blend. Blend until smooth.
Add ice. Add approximately one cup of ice or enough to make the margarita mixture thick. Blend again.If you'd like a sweeter drink, add simple syrup to taste.1 cup ice cubes, simple syrup
Repeat. Repeat this process if you want to make extra margaritas to keep on hand in the freezer.
Prep glasses. Run a lime wedge around the rim of two glasses. Dip glasses into a plate of kosher salt.lime slices , kosher salt
Pour/spoon. Pour margaritas into the glasses. Add a garnish of pineapple and a slice of lime to garnish.
Notes
How to make Simple Syrup:
Combine equal parts water and sugar to a saucepan.
Heat over medium heat and cook mixture until the sugar dissolves.
Remove from heat.
If you want to add mint (for mojitos) or limes/zest, you can add that in the pan too.
