1cuplower-sodium chicken broth
1cupketchup
1/3cupmolasses
1TablespoonWorcestershire sauce
1Tablespoonapple cider vinegar
1Tablespoonyellow mustard
1Tablespoonliquid smoke
½teaspoononion powder
½teaspoongarlic powder
½teaspooncumin
kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper- to taste
Instructions
Combine ingredients in a pan. In a medium saucepan, combine all the ingredients - chicken broth, ketchup, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, mustard, liquid smoke, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.1 cup lower-sodium chicken broth, 1 cup ketchup, 1/3 cup molasses, 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 1 Tablespoon yellow mustard, 1 Tablespoon liquid smoke, ½ teaspoon onion powder, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon cumin, kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Cook mixture. Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer and continue to cook until the sauce reduces by approximately 1/3.
Store sauce. Store the sauce in the refrigerator for up to one month.
