Start your day with this Blueberry Mango Chia Smoothie - naturally sweet, creamy, and packed with fiber and antioxidants. It’s a refreshing, nutrient-rich blend that’s perfect for breakfast or a healthy snack on the go.
Make the blueberry layer. To a blender, combine the blueberry frozen fruit, half a banana, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, and milk. Blend well.2 cups frozen blueberries, 1/2 medium banana, 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt, 1-2 teaspoons chia seeds, 2/3 cup milk
Add to two glasses. Add the blueberry layer into mason jars or glasses so they are half full. Rinse blender well.
Make the mango layer. Combine the mango frozen fruit, half a banana, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, and milk. Blend well.2 cups frozen mangos, 1/2 medium banana, 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt, 1-2 teaspoons chia seeds, 2/3 cup milk
Add the next layer. Add the mango layer on top of the blueberry layer.
Serve. Serve with fresh blueberries or mangos and some glass straws.
Notes
Most fruit is naturally sweet, but you can add a little honey, agave, or maple syrup if desired.
This recipe makes two pretty large smoothies so you could serve three, if desired.
We have a Vitamix, but any good blender would work.
