Ingredients
4oz.tequila- use a good quality vodka, like Ketel One
2oz.triple sec- we prefer using Cointreau
2oz.freshly squeezed lime juice
6oz.apple cider
plenty of ice
apple slices, star anise, and cinnamon sticks- to serve
sugar, cinnamon, and kosher salt- to rim
Instructions
Prep garnishes. Pour some sugar and cinnamon (and kosher salt - optional) on a small plate. Stir it up. Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glasses and then press the rims in the plate to get a nice pretty line. Add ice to the glasses. Combine ingredients. Use a cocktail shaker or a large jar and fill halfway with ice. Pour in the tequila, triple sec, freshly squeezed lime juice, and the apple cider. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds.4 oz. tequila, 2 oz. triple sec, 2 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice, 6 oz. apple cider
