Smoothies 101
Here are a few tips and tricks I use for making our smoothies!
Pick a base for that creamy factor - a banana, a scoop of peanut butter, yogurt, or an avocado.
Choose a fruit (or two) - frozen berries, fresh fruit, an orange, etc.
Choose a liquid (if needed) - any kind of milk, any kind of juice, or even water.
If you're using fresh fruit (not frozen), you'll need more ice.
If you go with frozen fruit, you'll need more liquid.
Want to add greens? Add spinach, kale, celery, or anything you like.
Want to add other things? Try flax seeds, chia seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, applesauce, etc.
Have extra smoothie? Pour it into ice cube trays and freeze for later!
