Ingredients
1/2cupmayonnaise with olive oil- or any mayo
1/2cupplain Greek yogurt
2teaspoonsshallots- minced
2Tablespoonsfresh dill- minced
1/2teaspoononion powder
kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper- to taste
1/2teaspoongranulated sugar
2teaspoonsfresh lemon zest- the zest from one lemon
1Tablespoonfresh lemon juice
Instructions
Combine ingredients – mayonnaise, yogurt, minced shallot, finely chopped fresh dill, freshly grated lemon, seasonings (onion powder, salt, and pepper), and granulated sugar.1/2 cup mayonnaise with olive oil, 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt, 2 teaspoons shallots, 2 Tablespoons fresh dill, 2 teaspoons fresh lemon zest, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
Whisk and add lemon juice. Whisk ingredients until very well combined. Then add lemon juice and whisk again – adding more as needed to get your desired consistency.1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Store sauce. Transfer this delicious sauce to a mason jar or serving dish. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Notes
Fresh dill has a brighter, more vibrant flavor than dried. If using dried, use about 1 teaspoon for every 1 tablespoon of fresh.
The flavors actually meld together nicely if you let this dip sit for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.
Store leftover dill sauce in an airtight container in your refrigerator for 3-4 days.
