Ingredients
1/4cupunsalted butter
4oz.bittersweet chocolate
1cupgranulated sugar
5oz.can evaporated milk
1teaspoonvanilla extract
pinch of salt
Instructions
Melt the chocolate. In a small saucepan, add the butter and chopped chocolate over medium heat. Cook until the chocolate is completely melted, stirring constantly.1/4 cup unsalted butter, 4 oz. bittersweet chocolate
Add sugar and milk. Then add the sugar and evaporated milk to the pan and stir well.1 cup granulated sugar, 5 oz. can evaporated milk
Cook until thickened. Continue cooking the mixture over medium heat until it becomes thick, about 4-5 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from the heat and add the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.1 teaspoon vanilla extract, pinch of salt
Store sauce. Pour the fudgy sauce into a 2-cup mason jar. Store in the refrigerator.
Serve. Serve this chocolate fudge sauce over your favorite ice cream!
Notes
NOTE: Remove lid from the jar and re-heat in your microwave for about 30 seconds or until easy to serve over ice cream.
