Ingredients
8oz.burrata cheese
1.5poundscherry tomatoes- halved
2Tablespoonsextra-virgin olive oil
1Tablespoonbalsamic glaze- or more
a small handful of fresh basil leaves- torn or sliced into strips
kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper- to taste
Instructions
Set out the burrata cheese. Remove the burrata rounds from the container to a plate and let sit out for 20 minutes or so. Pull them apart slightly to reveal the soft insides of the cheese.
Prep the tomatoes. Slice the cherry tomatoes in half and add to a medium bowl.1.5 pounds cherry tomatoes
Add remaining ingredients. Then add the burrata cheese to the top of the tomatoes. Add olive oil, kosher salt, and freshly ground black pepper (to taste). Notes
Store Caprese salad in an airtight container. Leftover salad will only last an extra day so I recommend eating it immediately!
