The weather is heating up here in Texas, and we love anything frozen, especially these Fruity Margaritas! Bring on the tequila and limes, because this party starts NOW! :)
Squeeze limes. Use a citrus press to squeeze the limes. Store the juice in a mason jar in the refrigerator.
Decorate glasses. Use your favorite margarita glasses and prep them. I use a variety of glasses, and rotate different ones on various occasions. Just run a lime around the rims and then dip them in a combo of lime zest and kosher salt. Add some lime slices or strawberries to the glasses to garnish.
Make the peach margs. In the blender, combine the lime juice, silver tequila, Cointreau, a little agave syrup (if desired), and the frozen peaches. Blend, add ice, and blend again until very smooth.
Make the strawberry margs. To the blender, combine the lime juice, liquors, a squeeze of agave syrup (if desired), and the frozen strawberries. Blend, add ice, and blend again to get to your desired consistency.
Layer frozen mixtures. Add the frozen strawberry margaritas and frozen peach margaritas in the glasses in layers. Add garnishes as desired.

Notes
If you'd like to prep the margs in advance, you can store the blackberry margs in a container and the peach margs in a separate container. Keep them in the freezer. At party time, remove from freezer and spoon them into the glasses. Let them sit for a few minutes to make them on the slushy side.
Recipe Tips:
Buy good quality tequila and orange liqueur.
Use fresh limes - NOT optional! They make a huge difference.
Rinse the blender out between the strawberry margs and the peach margs so you can keep the colors separate.
Keep your liqueurs and lime juice in the refrigerator a few hours before blending, so everything is nice and cold. You can even put your glasses in the freezer.
Add a mix of salt and lime zest to the rim of your prepared glasses for best results.
Keep some Agave handy or make some simple syrup. We prefer only a little sweetness to our cocktails so normally use Agave.
