Bring on the tequila and limes, because this party starts NOW! These Blackberry Peach Frozen Margaritas are super refreshing and perfect for warm summer nights.
1oz.simple syrup- or more if you like a sweeter drink
2cupsfrozen blackberries
3cupsice cubes
For the Peach Margaritas:
4oz.tequila- good quality
2oz.orange liqueur- good quality
3oz.fresh lime juice
1oz.simple syrup- or more if you like a sweeter drink
2cupsfrozen peaches
3cupsice cubes
To serve:
additional simple syrup if you like a sweeter drink
kosher salt- to line the rims
fresh lime wedges
fresh blackberries
Instructions
Well in advance, make a quick simple syrup by combining an equal amount of sugar and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, and then simmer until sugar is dissolved. Store in the refrigerator to cool.
Prepare 4 large (or 6 small) margarita glasses by rubbing lime along the rims and dipping them in a bowl of kosher salt/lime zest.
Squeeze limes to make 6 ounces of lime juice.
Place all ingredients for the blackberry margaritas in a blender. Puree until smooth. Pour into prepared glasses so that half the glass is full.
Rinse blender, and place all ingredients for the peach margaritas in the blender. Puree until smooth. Pour on top of the blackberry margaritas.
Serve with fresh blackberries and a lime wedge.

Notes
These margaritas are not overly sweetened. To make sweeter, just add additional simple syrup.
If you'd like to prep the margs in advance, you can store the blackberry margs in a container and the peach margs in a separate container. Keep them in the freezer. At party time, remove from freezer and spoon them into the glasses. Let them sit for a few minutes to make them on the slushy side.
