Homemade Pesto Sauce
a blend of fresh basil and garlic, parmesan cheese, pine nuts, and olive oil, creating a delicious and light tasting pesto

Ingredients
2
cups
fresh basil leaves
2/3
cup
grated parmesan cheese
1/4
cup
toasted pine nuts
3
cloves
garlic
1/2
cup
olive oil
salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
Add two cups fresh basil to food processor.
Add the remaining dry ingredients and pulse.
Slowly add olive oil to desired consistency.
Use for marinade or sauce.
This sauce freezes well.
