Sue,

We came across this bread recipe about 6 months ago. We loved it! Just made it today and noticed it was different than before - still very good, but wondering if you still have the original recipe (prior to the April 2026 update)? If you could, could you email it to me please? Thanks in advance.

My new favorite bread for toast and sandwiches and that’s saying something! I’ve been making my own bread for over 40+ years and this is a keeper. The first time I made it, it was too crumbly, but I kind of knew I had added a bit too much flour. Second batch is rising as we speak so I’m sure it will be moister. Operator error. Yes, although I haven't tried it, that's the way I'd do it too. Stop back and let me know if you try that!
