There are so many things to do in NYC! Since we were there a few years ago, Mike and I stuck to Broadway. But it was nice for the kids to go their own way.

The quasi-family vacation is a smart idea, and most families could benefit from that kind of perspective. Ours included. I actually could see myself fitting in well with Zach and Kirsten’s plan, including watching the Pride Parade – what better city to do that? – but also would have wanted to go to the Brooklyn Bridge… Craig would have made a few other choices, but that’s the compromise part 🙂 No matter what else we’d have to see some of the Broadway shows. We’ve seen Book of Mormon and laughed loudly – again and again and again… Funniest show ever! It sounds like a pretty perfect quasi-family vacation overall. Again, nice photos and yup, food!!
