Hi Jacki. Yes, I think lemon juice would work alright. I just prefer the taste of lime juice as it is my go-to for cocktails. Lemon will be a little more bitter tasting.

It would work fine. I prefer a more neutral liquor (vodka) with these, however. I have lots of margarita recipes that you could make as well!
