I made this for our neighborhood wine party. We had over 20 guest and everyone loved it. Many of them asked for the recipe. This soup is so easy to make ahead too. just get everything ready then pop the seafood in last minute. Making it Sunday for family dinner as it is getting cold here Oregon this week. Thank you for a great recipe from someone who doesn't even follow recipes.

Hi Jonas. One cup of stock is 240 ml (so multiply that by 3). A cup of onions is approximately 150 grams, a cup of carrots 130 grams, and a cup of potatoes are about 160 grams. Hope that helps!

I really want to try this recipe but I always get mixed up with the "cup" amount. We don't really use that in Spain or Belgium. How many carrots/potatoes/onions would that be? And how much ml is 3 cups of fish stock?
Thank you.

Delicious! Everyone loves this chowder and I make it on repeat. I use half and half and heavy whipping cream.

We were in London, Scotland, and Ireland last year and ate quite a bit of seafood chowder. This recipe tastes like the best ones we sampled.

Hello Kallen! While I don't have the full list, I'll list our top three - the Dingle Skellig Hotel restaurant (the BEST), Paddy-o's Pub in Dingle, and Brasserie in Galway. Have a great time in Ireland!
