She froze them in individual servings and maybe topped with a little whipped cream to serve them? You mentioned a bizarre name? Just curious what the name was—she called them tumbleweeds. I searched under that name, but didn’t find anything!

So many memories around this drink. I remember making them with Mom and sending Dad “to town” for more ice cream. We had to make 3 kinds, filling 3 buckets and of course sampling along the way!!! Yum, yum and yum!!
